On the 44th Biel International Chess Festival,  held in the City of Biel/Bienne from 18 to 30 july 2011, three Indonesian Chess Players has succeed in making prestations on their categories.

Ms. Irene Kharisma Sukandar 1^st rank in Woman Blitz Chess and 2^nd rank Best Woman, Mr. Susanto Megaranto, 4^th rank in Chess Master, Ms. Kadek Iin Dwijayanti, Best Woman and 1^st rank in Classic Tournament.

Two other players; Ms. Chelsea Monica and Dewi Ardiani Chitra got their Master nternational Norm.

Participation at this tournament is intended to prepare the Indonesian Chess Players for the SEA Games XXVI which will be held in the City of Palembang, South Sumatra in November.

After the tournament in Biel, the Players will also participate at the Yunior Tournament  in Russia from 12 until 24 August 2011 and the World Chess Championship in Kantimassie from 26 August – 15 September 2011.
