Yesterday, 21 June 2010, the Moody's international rating agency revised the outlook for Indonesia's sovereign credit rating, currently at  the  Ba2  level  for  the  local  and  foreign  currency  sovereign  ratings, to positive from the previous stable. The revised outlook also applies to the  Ba1  foreign  currency  bond  ceiling  and  Ba3  foreign  currency  deposit  ceiling. The positive outlook is indicative of the likelihood  of  an  upgrading  in   Indonesia 's rating  within  the  coming year.   Presently,   Indonesia  is  still  2  notches  short of Moody's investment grade.
