Untuk pertama kalinya sejak pameran dagang MUBA diadakan pada tahun 1917, pihak pengelola Mustermesse Basel memberikan penghargaan berupa Gold Certificate sebagai paviliun dengan penampilan keseluruhan (pameran dan pertunjukan budaya) yang paling inovatif dan sekaligus sebagai the Best Stand Design. Penghargaan diberikan langsung oleh Direktur MUBA, Chris Eichenberger kepada Duta Besar RI untuk Konfederasi Swiss dan Keharyapatihan Liechtenstein dan didampingi oleh Ir. Enny Wahyuni Soebroto, Sekretaris Inspektur Jenderal, Kementerian Perdagangan RI, pada saat penutupan yang berlangsung secara meriah di panggung "Remarkable Indonesia" |

Untuk periode Januari-Desember 2011, ekspor komoditi Alat Musik (HS 92) Indonesia ke pasaran Swiss berjumlah sebesar CHF 1,978,305 (Rp 19.38 milyar) dengan volume sebesar 155,783 kg. (Kurs BII pada 9 September 2011, 1CHF= Rp. 9,796).
Jumlah tersebut menunjukkan kenaikan nilai sebesar CHF 1,140,621 (136.16%) dan kenaikan volume sebesar 91,604 kg (142.73%), apabila dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya dengan nilai sebesar CHF 837,684 dan volume sebesar 64,179 kg. |

I am writing this from Indonesia. Actually, that is not altogether a fair statement. I am at the moment in Bali and just came from Jakarta. The two together do not come close to being Indonesia. Jakarta, the capital, is a vast city that is striking to me for its traffic. It takes an enormous amount of time to get anywhere in Jakarta. Like most cities, it was not built to accommodate cars, and the mix of cars with motor scooters results in perpetual gridlock. It is also a city of extraordinary dynamism. There is something happening on almost every street. And in the traffic jams, you have time to contemplate those streets in detail. |

Dalam rangkaian kunjungannya ke Jenewa untuk menghadiri dan sampaikan sambutan di International Labour Conference ke-100 di Jenewa, 14 Juni 2011, Presiden RI Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono telah berkesempatan menyaksikan penandatanganan dua buah Memorandum Kesepahaman (MOU) antara Dr. H. Soekarwo, Gubernur Jawa Timur yang mewakili Pemda Jawa Timur dan R. Wisman Djaja, Direktur Nestlà Indonesia. Sedangkan MOU kedua ditandatangani oleh Alex Noerdin, Gubernur Sumatera Selatan dan Mr. Henry Fung, Managing Director Spectrum Imaging. |
